Thibault VERBIEST

Thibault Verbiest has been a IT/IP lawyer for more than 22 years at the Paris and Brussels Bars. He co-founded the international law firm Ulys (based in Brussels, Paris and Tel Aviv, a leading firm in technology).

In 2014, he joined Largillière Finance, an investment bank based in Paris and Brussels, (M&A and fundraising operations in the high-tech sector).

He also co-founded Payservices, a universal e-wallet (processing e.g. crypto-currencies)

He is now partner with the law firm De Gaulle Fleurance & Associés, a leading French firm, with an office in Brussels.

As a IT/IP lawyer with an expertise in M&A, his main focus is the digital transformation of the economy, e.g. in the banking/insurance sector (FINTECH), blockchain, e-health, gaming, internet of things, big data, cybersecurity etc.

He is co-author of the first book (in French) dedicated to the Blockchain revolution, Bitcoin et Blockchain. Vers un nouveau paradigme de la confiance numérique ?, RB éd., 2016.
