Aleksej GUBAREV

In 2005, at age of 25, Aleksej Gubarev entered the hosting infrastructure market by founding XBT Holding S.A., a privately-owned global hosting, network solutions and web development company. The holding began with services targeted only at the European market. However, under Aleksej’s guidance, in 2008 the holding expanded into North America and Asia.

Currently, as a result of strategic acquisitions around the globe, XBT owns 7 subsidiaries, providing dedicated hosting, colocation, shared and VPS hosting, high-performance network, cloud, web and application development services.

Through modernistic development which Aleksej inspired, XBT received a vast portfolio of international customers, some of which belong to the Fortune 100. In 2013, sourcing all experience and with Aleksej’s initiative, XBT bought the Servers.com domain name and established the company to serve as an automated hosting platform, offering a wide range of bare metal and cloud servers.

During Aleksej’s 10 years in the hosting industry, he has participated in a number of conferences as a business development speaker. Aleksej also recognizes the importance of diversity and sponsors a number of activities, not only related to financial aid but also to popularization and awareness.
