Biography

Mrs Svetlana Schuster is Head of Sector Implementation and Review of the NIS Directive at the Directorate General for Communications Networks, Content (DG CONNECT) of the European Commission, Unit H2 Cybersecurity and Digital Privacy Policy. She joined the European Commission in October 2011 and worked until August 2015 for the department dealing with the implementation of telecom regulations at DG CONNECT. Mrs Schuster is a fully qualified German lawyer, graduated from Europa-Universität Viadrina Frankfurt/O., Germany and Vrije Universiteit Brussels (LL.M in International and European law).
